They refuse for no good reason to pay the death benefit separately from the interest even knowing all the requirements for the death benefit was given over 30 days ago. That is the time they had to pay. They have been vague and hostile in this and providing any valid rate that matches the Moody’s monthly index. I obtained the monthly March index of 4.29 % at https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/DBAA#0 However, it could be 8 %, but I don't know how to find out on my own.
