Nashville, TN asked in Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death for Tennessee

Q: I believe there is a case for medical malpractice that led to the death of a family member. I would like a 2nd opinion.

We called an ambulance for our grandmother who was in severe pain, having breathing issues, and had not eaten in almost 3 days and the medical team that came to our home told us that her breathing was OK and her lack of eating wasn't anything to worry about at her age (87). She died a few hours later in her sleep after they had left. She had a variety of medical issues that were told and also documented. Would this be a possible case for malpractice, wrongful death, or anything else in this field in your opinion?
