Hortense, GA asked in Contracts, Family Law and Libel & Slander for Georgia

Q: How can the law stating parents have to be split up before a grandparent can sue for visitation be amended?

I took care of them and mere minutes before I was told I’d never see them again I was told they’d never take the girls away from me. It’s been a year and the only reason the law is t on my side is because my daughter and her husband are still together. I took care of them for years, living with me, me supporting them, ..we were a family. Then without a reason why I can’t see the granddaughters I raised. I want the law to include being able to sue for visitation even when the parents are married. How do I start?
