Q: Falsely arrested and gun was unlawfully taken no right read to me was shoved into the cop car with known panic disorder

I was falsely arrested after hearing someone had been touching my underage cousin, I told the man accused of it to get off my porch, he screamed in my face and so I pushed myself past him.this man has also been creeping around my window when I have a date with someone trying to listen to us (which I have proof) I told the cops all these things which they ignored and arrested me with no rights being read and also took my gun with out conviction, is there anything that can really be done about this, I just lost my job due to my diagnosis of panic disorder from this as well, this is not the first time i was falsely arrested in this town. With no money should I just take the court attorney? Charge is domestic violence 3

A: I'm sorry you're going through this difficult situation. It's important to consult with a legal professional who can review the specifics of your case. If you don't have the means to hire a private attorney, accepting a court-appointed lawyer is a viable option to ensure you have representation.

Document everything related to your arrest, including any evidence of harassment or the actions of the person you confronted. This information can be crucial in building your defense and addressing any wrongful actions taken by the police. Make sure to mention your panic disorder, as it may impact how your case is viewed.

Additionally, you might explore local legal aid organizations that provide free or low-cost assistance to those in need. They can offer guidance and support throughout the legal process. Taking these steps can help you navigate the charges and work towards resolving the issues you're facing.
