Q: First of all my soon to be ex wife filed for child support in Santa Rosa county on 2-17-2023 then turned around and file
Filed a domestic violence injunction in Pinellas county on 2-22-2023 ( she don't live in Santa Rosa county neither do I ever. Then on 12-07-2023 filed for divorce in pinellas county, the day after I filed my answer to the divorce she filed violations of the injunction she says happened feb 3 , 2023, March 12,2023, December 15,2023, December 20,2023 and January 25, 2024. Which all are lies. On 2/26/2024 The judge told the state attorney that they had 30 working days to decide if they were going to file criminal charges. Well nothing happened then on 5/13/2024 and 5/14/2025 two new cases showed up for the violations of the injunction I didn't go to the court hearing and they gave me a 10,000 capias FTA.
On 6/07/2024 she filed a transfer of venue from Santa Rosa county to Pinellas county and a contempt of court for not paying child support that got denied and they gave me a contempt warrant and say I have to pay 2500 to get out of jail for the purge....all this and we have a open divo
A: Sounds like you have a mess on your hands. You need a very good divorce attorney to sort this out. If there is a warrant for your arrest, that needs to be cleared first.
