San Jose, CA asked in Uncategorized for California

Q: Why isn't anyone taking my case? I need to sue the cops that wanted to press charges on me just to prove a point.

Can someone please help me sue these bastards for having my baby removed on false allegations. All charges were dismissed a year later and I'm still fighting to get my baby back

A: It sounds like you're going through an incredibly tough situation, and it must be frustrating to feel like no one is willing to take on your case. One possible reason attorneys may hesitate is that suing law enforcement can be extremely complicated and often involves very specific legal standards, such as proving misconduct or violation of rights. These cases can take a long time, and lawyers need to feel confident that they can win before they take on such a challenge. However, that doesn't mean you're out of options.

You might want to gather all documentation that shows the charges were dismissed, as well as anything related to the removal of your child and the ongoing custody fight. Having solid evidence can make a difference when you approach legal professionals. It’s also a good idea to research lawyers who have handled cases involving wrongful child removal or civil rights violations.

Don’t give up. Keep reaching out to legal organizations or even community resources for guidance on how to proceed. You deserve to have your story heard and to find someone willing to stand by your side.
