Lake Oswego, OR asked in Contracts, Personal Injury, Business Law and Civil Litigation for Oregon

Q: I have some question regarding anti slapp motion in CA to an overtly vague and malicious slander per se complaint

I am modest means and cannot afford a lawyer and forced to file my answer and cross pro per in CA and have spent 100's of hours over a year gathering evidence and witness testimony, studying the applicable CPP in order to sue a former bus partner for fraud by concealment, conversion, etc and prepared to set aside an unconscionable contract that I entered under coercion and duress and false pretenses. However, prior to filing, they first filed a frivolous slander pe se against me which was vague, did not meet legal criteria and they verified claims which I can prove they knew were false. (perjury). Im preparing my anti slapp motion and unclear how to ask for damages since its just my time Im uncollectible as well and their actions have resulted in a PTSD diagnosis and bankruptcy from my struggle to work. Statutes have not tolled... but for instance, they filed on nov 2 2023 and served me sept 18 an egregious abuse of process. the venue is the superior court of ca sonoma county. thanks
