Q: Malpractice? Divorce attorney advised me to not show up for a court hearing. Warrant issued. Over 200k in damages......
My attorney recently stopped answering my questions via email and prefers to answer them with a phone call. Seemed kind of shady so I recorded them.
The following has happened within the last year
My ex was caught selling my belongings on Facebook. I advised my attorney. His actions were to email her attorney and ask her to stop
Two weeks after my ex was ordered out of the house, was caught removing my gun safe with $30,000 worth of guns in it. His response was to email her attorney and asked her when she will be done moving out?
In our most recent hearing, I told my attorney I wanted to be put on the stand so I could explain to the judge why I stopped paying her, my attorney said the judge won't care, thought it would be best if I didn't show up and now I have a warrant for my arrest. He's also asking me to hire another attorney to deal with it.
I think he should've filed with the court the violations
damages exceed $200,000 plus new Attorney
