A: Your immediate priority should be addressing the bench warrant before your jury duty date, as having an active warrant could lead to serious complications.

Contact the court where your DUI case was handled right away and ask about the procedure for recalling the warrant. You'll want to bring proof of your completed DUI course when you go to court. Many courts have specific walk-in hours for handling bench warrants, but you might need to schedule an appearance with the clerk's office.

Regarding jury duty, you should contact the jury commissioner's office to explain your situation and request postponement until after you've resolved the warrant issue. While this is stressful, courts generally work with people who take initiative to fix these situations, so taking action promptly will help show your good faith effort to comply with all requirements.
