Q: im being tried for 2 counts of negligent injury .

the first time my dog was provoked and was protecting my son . in both istances my dog was properly restrained , first time dog popped running cable in which was bought at tractor supply according to his body weight . original ticket was animal restraignt required. dog just nipped at the hip of victim. victim did not need stitches, returned to work the next day . dog went to pound for 10 days . i paid to bond dog out as well as had to take get a rabies shot , during this time i took precautions and purchased a training collar with a remote and a mussle for my dog . 3 weeks later my son had taken dog out to potty and metal part on collar that leash connects to popped open and my dog bit my other neighbor at the hip . again no stitches , returned to school next day. while on same day as second bite package with training collar and accessories were sitting on my front steps . ticket was issued for animal at large. i was not home for first bite my dog was in care of my husband and 15yo.son
