Concord, NH asked in Animal / Dog Law for New Hampshire

Q: Can a person who has got a court order to obtain the veterinary records for a dog in your care be charged?

The owner of a dog had filed a writ of replevin against me because she says I refused to return her dog. I believed the dog to have been abandoned and provided veterinary care for the dog. The owner says she did not give me permission to have the dog vaccinated so should not have to pay. The owner did not contact me for another two years and then went to the court with a writ or replevin. The judge in the court case did give the dog back to the owner. If the owner got a court order for the vaccination records to be changed to her name as owner. Does she have a right to use the veterinarian records for her benefit?
