Louisville, CO asked in Traffic Tickets for Colorado

Q: I got a ticket from an officer today who was using Lidar. However, he did not record the speed on the ticket.

The officer was using Lidar equipment to record my speed but when I looked at the ticket, he never recorded the speed on the ticket itself. Instead, it just states he was using Lidar and it states the speed limit of the given area. I also was not shown any other proof as to my speed. Is this common that they do not record the speed they recorded on the ticket or can I use this to fight the ticket?

I was told that I was going 40 in a 35 by the officer. However, it is a 4-point ticket which did not seem right. I noticed as well that the ticket was written for 10-20 mph over the speed limit so I was looking for the speed to see if I had just misheard or if that is an error and that is when I noticed the speed field was left empty on my ticker.
