Galesburg, IL asked in Employment Discrimination and Employment Law for Illinois

Q: Is this wrongful Termination? I wrote the basics of the case there is more supporting evidence.

On July 19th this year I had to take my mother to the emergency room due to her stage 4 bone cancer complications. I was approved on June 26th this year for my mother whom I'm the caretaker. My intermittence Fmla was stated i could take partial to whole shifts off for her needs up to 30 hours a week according to doctor's comments. Company guidelines state I need to notify my manager a least one hour before work and also call the corporate office likewise. I work the overnight shift from 8pm to 630 am so i need to call in by 7 under normal situations. Also state or as soon as I'm aware of needing time for Fmla. But has to be reported by my first day of work letting them know i needed Fmla for my time off. Now i have been with company over 5 years and on fmla the last 3 this day of the19th i called my boss at 530 and the main office around midnight. When i report to work the next day i was released because they said they denied my fmla and pointed me out on point system.
