Q: I was issued a citation for failure to yield Section 40-6-71.

APD Officer told me the ticket is No points and I can pay the fine online. Is this true?

A: No, that is not correct. That ticket is a 3-point violation. Also, if the ticket was issued as the result of an accident, even if you are be able to pay it online, Georgia law still requires you to show up for your court date.
