Q: Do I have a case for retaliation, wrongful termination?
I was the hospitality supervisor ata retreat center that hosts people from all over the world, close quarters, stay a week, bed bug was found. Confirmed 100% by Dodson rep.. I asked my supervisor to meet that afternoon so we had a game plan,I was going to call off my staff the next morning until we had something in place. I was told no they had to come in. Upon my arrival in am staff refused to go in, no training and no PPE. my supervisor notified, I asked to meet as a group, she drove asking why we were still outside. I gave reason again by group text response “we had already been exposed and we needed to go in. If we were worried about taking them home to put our clothes in the dryer before we leave”. The next week I was informed by CEO I was being demoted. I stated so I’m being demoted for going to my supervisor and she refused to help. The CEO said we would hold on that. Before incident I was doing a great job, surveys 4.5>, great feedback from guests/trainers to questioned
