Q: If someone was born and adopted in 1937 in OK, is it possible for their spouse to get their original birth cert?
My brother's wife was born and adopted in 1937 from the Salvation Army Booth Maternity hospital in Tulsa. Her birth certificate lists her adoptive parents. She died in 2022 . Can my brother (or their daughter) request her original birth certificate to see if it lists her biological mother? My brother lives in Oregon, and I live in Shawnee, Kansas.
