Q: My landlord pressed charges on me due to damages to property but it was washable paint that got cleaned up.
My four year old twins got into the arts and crafts supplies and put paint on my floor, door, and refrigerator. My landlord saw it and immediately sent me an eviction notice. I cleaned the paint up but is still pressing charges against me for damage to property,I’m also facing eviction and was told he was gonna have me arrested for trespassing if I don’t leave. If I cleaned the paint up then there’s no damage to property can he still evict me even though I fixed the problem
