Shakopee, MN asked in Civil Litigation for Oregon

Q: Can I sue for travel expenses for going to look at a car that was described to be in much better condition than reality?

Flew from Minneapolis to Portland Oregon to look at a car. The pictures of the car were from 3 years ago, the dealer owner described the car as immaculate. It was not worth it's weight in scrap metal. Tires were 15 years old, brakes were bad, paint peeling, ran like garbage, there was an exhaust leak, parts of the trim missing, and the suspension and steering were very bad. He told me he had it for 3 years stores inside and it was definitely left out in the elements to rot away for 3 years. I was flat out lied to. Do I have grounds to seek repayment of my travel expenses?
