Q: There is nothing basic about the situation at hand. But I really need free legal advice, as I don't know the law.
My son was arrested on March 11,2023. He did some mechanic work on a vehicle. The owner and driver ask him to ride with him down the street to make sure the vehicle had been repaired, and he did. The car was stopped by ** police, narcotic agents, *PD, and * county sheriff's dept. It gets alittle tricky from here. But the driver threatened my son to take a felony charge of Marijuana. My son has not even been to court for anything other than a bond hearing when he was initially arrested. Now, his charge has completely changed to the drivers charges. And the driver only has the Marijuana charge. My son is white, the driver is black. The driver has a past record of felony charges my son has never had a felony. My son has been beat down and seriously injured over the last 21 months and is currently awaiting surgery for a broken clavicle bone in three places.... but was told he better say he "fell into of shower". There's more... he has not even had a bond reduction hearing. Help!
