Seattle, WA asked in Civil Litigation, Elder Law, Gov & Administrative Law and Probate for Washington

Q: What type of lawyer do I contact if a judge appoints a representative of an estate who is not qualified under Washington

My grandma's estate representative is a felon his background check came back inconclusive and in Washington State you cannot be an executor to someone's estate if you are a convicted felon so instead of the judge looking for their into it he just granted him his request to be personal representative of her estate I have pointed this out on numerous occasions and it just gets swept under the rug because of it I lost my house pretty much everything I have and now I have a $50,000 bill all because the judge appointed him my lawyer walked out on me with no reason just saying she didn't do these types of cases which that was a lie and I do not have money for an actual attorney I can't even get attorneys to call me back because they just look at my case I assume there is no agency out there to help they only give consultations and that's it so I've been doing everything myself I know I got to do a TEDRA petition to remove him as executor is there anything else I can do
