A: First, you should document all your attempts to contact your attorney, including dates, times, and methods of communication. This creates a clear record of the communication issues you're experiencing. Write a formal letter to your attorney via certified mail restating your requests and expressing your concerns about the lack of response.

If your attorney continues to be unresponsive, you can file a complaint with the court. During your next court appearance in January, you can bring this issue to the judge's attention and request either a new attorney or an order compelling your current attorney to provide the discovery materials. The judge has the authority to address these concerns and ensure you receive proper representation.

You might also consider contacting the supervisor of the conflict panel or filing a complaint with the California State Bar. Remember that while your attorney may have other cases, you have the right to adequate representation and timely access to your case materials. In the meantime, keep detailed notes about your case and continue requesting the discovery reports through multiple channels - email, phone, and certified mail - to demonstrate your consistent efforts to obtain this information.
