Kent, WA asked in Personal Injury for Washington

Q: I was shopping at Safeway when a worker from the meat department pulled my bag off me from behind at the checkout.

I was shopping at Safeway when a worker from the meat department approached me and asked if I was going to pay for the items in my bag. I immediately started walking towards the checkout to pay, but as I reached the counter, there was no one there since it was so early in the morning. Suddenly, the meat department worker forcefully ripped the bag off my shoulder, causing significant pain in my left arm and hand.

The sudden and forceful removal of the bag pulled my arm in the opposite direction, resulting in an injury to my left arm and hand. ( The bag did not rip ) The pain has persisted for about two days, so I am now going to the urgent care.

At the urgent care, the doctor took X-rays and said I might have just gotten my arm pulled the wrong way. However, during the X-ray process, the doctor had me sit in certain positions with my arm and hand in different ways. As I was holding these positions I noticed that my back seems worse then my arm / hand. Advice? Thanks I'm advance!
