On November 22, my wife, Liu, a breastfeeding mother, consulted Dr. Hao about prescribed Chinese herbal medicine. Despite repeatedly questioning its safety, Dr. Hao assured us it was safe for breastfeeding. We later found the medicine was near expiration or lacked production dates. Trusting his advice, my wife took it, resulting in our baby suffering vomiting, diarrhea, seven days of constipation (requiring suppositories), dehydration, lethargy, and weight loss.
Emergency care attributed the symptoms to breast milk exposure. Dr. Hao has refused accountability. We seek guidance on pursuing legal action for negligence, malpractice, and compensation for medical expenses and emotional distress.
