Q: Is this considered employment discrimination?
Hello: Back in September of 2023 I was injured at work. As of now, I'm still on work restrictions. Back in June of this year, every employee was due for a raise. Everyone but myself received the raise. When I brought it up to my admin, she said "You were accidentally missed, we will fix it." It's been three months and I still haven't received a raise. The handbook says "after a year of employment, employees will receive a raise." I have said something to our boss on several occasions, and have been blown off. Can they legally not give me a raise, when everyone else has received one? Also, I haven't heard any other reason why I didn't receive a raise. I feel like they're leaving me out of this, because of my injury. Something else to add (might be relevant) : Our previous boss wouldn't let me work holidays or weekends because it was a raise in pay, and she said "it's not like you can do much anyway, so do you deserve the extra pay?"
