A: In California appellate procedure, you can generally file amended notices (APP-002 and APP-003) along with your Civil Case Information Statement (APP-004) when the APP-004 is due, which is typically within 15 days after the superior court clerk serves notification of the filing of the notice of appeal.

Filing these forms together can be more efficient and helps ensure all your information is current and consistent. The reviewing court needs accurate information about your appeal, and submitting amended notices with your APP-004 allows you to provide the most up-to-date details about your case and the parties involved.

However, it's crucial to note that you should file any amended notices as soon as you become aware of necessary changes - don't wait to file them just because you plan to submit them with the APP-004. If you need to make corrections or updates to your original notices before the APP-004 is due, file them immediately. You can always attach copies of previously filed amended notices to your APP-004 when you submit it.
