Denver, CO asked in Landlord - Tenant for Colorado

Q: Landlady is making me move over the dead mouse in the wall because I complained about the smell. Is this legal?

Last year she gave me dryer sheets to stuff in wall. I had to deal with any surface cleaning myself. She had no worries. This year I provided her with info off the net where the odor is/ can be toxic. She got all irate told me I didn't need to be in the apt it's so dangerous and she wants me out by Jan 1, 2025. I have a month to month been here 3 years. She's retaliating bcuz I complained of the smell the dead mouse gives off. Is this legal for her to do?
