Ossining, NY asked in Consumer Law for New York

Q: I had a weird thought about bringing some type of legal action to Google about their cellular service

I’m a single female who traveled abroad for school and chose to their network due to the unlimited international calling. They stopped that because I wasn’t in the states long enough, but that’s in the fine print apparently. Yet the remainder of my time down there my phone was never able to call people. I could not receive calls and if I tried to troubleshoot it, they couldn’t call me back and I have hundreds upon hundreds of lost emails that they couldn’t retrieve.

It’s probably just an odd shower thought yet being in a foreign country and having no outside contact for young lady is terrifying, especially when I was strong hold it into keeping my service in order to save my number while abroad.

don’t fret my friends. It all worked out. I ended up getting a local number to make calls to local people. But could only speak with my family via iMessage or WhatsApp.

Thank you guys in advance and I appreciate you pondering my quandary! Have a great day
