Denver, CO asked in Landlord - Tenant for Colorado

Q: My landlord is evicting me because...due to smell, I asked to have dead mouse removed from wall. No other reason.

I've lived here 3 yrs on private property. I live in an apt under the LL quarters above. Never had any problem. Until I asked to have the dead mouse removed due to the smell. I enclosed info on the health danger I found online. She had a fit and told me I have to be out by Jan 1 2025. I just told her about it yesterday. She said it's so serious I should not be living here at all as of rt now. Last year I had the same problem she provided me with dryer sheets and I had to do any cleaning up the mouse area myself. Now she wants me gone immediately. Is this legal? I'm a good renter always pay on time never had any issue. My 6 month lease turned to month to month due to the house being on market to sell. It's been showed several times no problem there. It hasn't sold. The dead.mouse just sent her over the top and she's forcing me to vacate! Do I have any rights or choices?
