Q: FLCo sold Bad transmission. After months my CC & their bank credited me. What to do with part? Can I take to dump?
Purchased from FL Used Auto Parts. Transmission was bad and they couldn't find another to exchange it out but they wanted me to keep the part and just install it which Tranco said they wouldn't do because they wouldn't warranty work on a bad part install. Led through steps successfully and have a permanent credit back on my credit card. But I have had this heavy huge part sitting in the back of my truck for months making it impossible to use the truck as someone might steal it for the truck or transmission. Can I just take it to the dump now? Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated.
