If you received your I-797C Notice of Action in June 2022 and haven't received any communication from the National Visa Center (NVC), you should take action to check your case status.
First, verify that USCIS has approved your petition by checking your case status online using the receipt number from your I-797C. Once approved, USCIS typically transfers the case to NVC within 30-45 days. However, delays can occur during this transfer process.
If your petition is approved but you still haven't heard from NVC, contact them directly at 1-603-334-0700. Have your USCIS receipt number ready when you call. You can also submit an online inquiry through the NVC's public inquiry form on the Department of State website. The NVC will need to create your case in their system before you can proceed with visa processing, so being proactive about following up is important.
