Q: I’m in ga and I got a question about a defacs issue
Me and my girlfriend the kids mom is my gf daughter but we have been together since 2015 the kids are 3&2 and the mom isn’t ever here but she has custody well she just had a baby out the blue and she tested positive for drugs but they let her leave the hospital well the defacs came to the house and took the kids we have that are hers they placed them with the other grandparents temporarily there is a hearing mon afternoon to give them temporary custody but the father is in prison and they married after the kids were born so he don’t have rights to the kids ? And what if the mom gives me custody like a person that notary of republican to sign them to me before the hearing so that I can get them because I have raised them they have been with us there whole life and my gf the mom of the kids mom she had a previous defacs case 13 yrs ago so they said she couldn’t get the kids but they said I was a option if I get certified to be a foster parent but i need help faster in Americus ga
