Q: I have filed two I-140 petitions: one via my employer under EB2 (regular processing) and another self-petitioned EB1A
I have concurrently filed two I-140 petitions: one through my employer under EB2 with regular processing, and another as a self-petition under EB1A with premium processing. I have now filed my I-485 based on the approved EB1A I-140. I would like to know whether the employer-sponsored I-140 will still be adjudicated independently of the I-485 approval, or if the approval of the I-485 might impact the adjudication of the employer's petition, as it is currently taking longer under regular processing.
