Q: Hi, my dog got cancer, and died after surgery we were not told to see oncoligist.
He had cancer removed, but since he did not have chemo he had some cancer left behind and it spread more and he had it all over. The vet said it might come back, but did not refer us to a cancer specialist until he got it the second time. Had we went to the cancer specialist my dog may still be alive today. The vet did not specialize in that, but spoke as though he had experience. This vet we trusted with our loving boy sora and he did not do what was best for sora. We had to pay this vet for surgery that failed due to neglegance of refering us to the cancer specialist to start with and did not even after surgery, until it came back aprox 2 months later. He did not help us keep infection down either. After we paid him he did not seem like he cared at all. We struggled to save sora, but sadly he had to be put to rest. The vet made even putting him to rest a horrible experience. He is not as compassionate and caring as we thought in the beginning. Wrongful death.
