Kalamazoo, MI asked in Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, Gov & Administrative Law and Small Claims for Indiana

Q: Locked up for "your own good" but you were not threating harm others or yourself. Cop discretion was wrong.

What would you do if you got locked up in the mental hospital for walking on broken safety glass. You were clearly not threating anybody or yourself. But since that's up to the cops discretion, you're left with no choice but to go with them as you're told there's voluntary and involuntary by the cop. And on top of that the cops walk you to the car, without cuffs until you actually go to get in, cuff you to a bad in the hospital all night until around noon, but then all of a sudden have to shackle your hands to your feet for some reason to transport you to the next hospital. Why was that needed from hospital to hospital, it wasn't because it was the other's hospitals policy as soon as their guards took over all restraints were tooking off.

Then to pour salt on the wound, the regular hospital you're first sent to bills you 4,500$. For staying in a room, with a nurse that may have spent a few minutes checking you over. The doctor may have spent a minute with you.
