A: An Illinois attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. It's difficult to guess why the carrier is refusing to pay. It might be bad faith - it might not be. It's impossible to say based on the limited details. If the carrier issued a denial, you could review that with an attorney - where you could learn if it is viable to pursue the matter through legal channels. If the carrier has not yet issued a denial and the investigation is still ongoing, you could look into what may be causing delays. Good luck
