Q: Can my Mother revoke my sisters guardianship now or stop her activity over her finances until we can see a lawyer?
My mom made the mistake of making my sister Gaurdian in her will, she fellfracturing a hip, they immediately had a psych eval done w/hrs of finding out n has ben on a power trip from hell. I have an appointment with an attorney but it is still 3wks out. Is there anything I can do to pause or freeze her power till our appointment? She has done countless things to abuse tier power, my case is strong but I need damage control here. She wants me to have guardianship n I live with her plus I am named as a successor. She has short term memory loss, no treatment or even a diagnosis of mental impairment in her medical records. She says she has paperwork giving her power but I'm guessing it's Shakey at best but until we have appointment... I mean she has done a lot of damage financially and is stressing my mom out too the max.
A: You need to hire a real lawyer that will help stop the stealing now. Contact another WI attorney.
