A: There are many factors that go into determining a fair settlement value of a personal injury case. Without having more information, it would be difficult to determine if the offer is reasonable. For example, was the other party determined to be at fault, do you have medical expenses and income loss. Are you expected to have additional treatment. Did you have spinal issues before the accident. Do you expect additional medical treatment. How interfering was the injury to your general ability to lead your normal life. My experience tells me the offer is low. however impossible to know without additional information.

A: My colleague raises a number of good points that would need to be considered in evaluating your case. Attorneys who handle these types of cases typically offer free initial consults with no obligation. Attorneys may be reluctant to directly answer your question of "Can you get me more?" but they could be interested in discussing your file with you and sharing their thoughts. I hope you are okay and recovering from your injuries. Good luck
