Q: Can I sue Uber after a driver pulled a gun on my son in PA?
I would like to know if I can sue Uber after an incident where an Uber driver pulled a gun on my 20-year-old son right in front of my house. Although my son was not physically harmed, he is undergoing mental health treatment due to emotional distress. We reported the incident to the police, and I also contacted Uber. Uber mentioned that they couldn't discuss the incident further due to my intent to contact a lawyer. Additionally, while I know my neighbors have cameras, I am not sure if the footage has been reviewed by the police. Can you advise on any legal steps we can take?
