Q: Will being an authorized signer on a nonprofit account affect my child's SSI payments?
I am listed as an authorized signer on a nonprofit bank account for Scouting America - Cub Scouts, but I cannot access the funds or bank information. My 5-year-old child, who is autistic, receives SSI disability benefits. I recently received a voicemail from SSI asking about this account. Could being an authorized signer affect my child's monthly SSI payments?
