The DVO hasn't been violated during this time. However, he is currently facing a separate ongoing case for strangulation, with his next court date on March 6, 2025, for his plea. There have been no additional legal conditions placed upon him, except for the DVO. Can I go to my local courthouse to file a motion to drop the DVO, and what potential outcomes or implications should I be aware of?
