Q: Terminated for refusing COVID-19 vaccine; seeking legal advice.
I was recently terminated from my employment after 18 months because I chose not to receive the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. There were no specific company policies communicated to me regarding vaccination requirements, and I did not receive any forms to apply for a religious exemption. The employer stated that the termination was solely due to the vaccine requirement. I haven't taken any legal action yet and am seeking to understand whether my dismissal was lawful and what steps I might take to address the situation.
