Q: Help needed with challenging old divorce and financial abuse situation in AZ.
I met and married my ex-husband when I was 19, and he was significantly older. He completed the divorce paperwork himself, and I signed without full understanding. Now, at 59, I live with him amid financial and emotional abuse. He controls substantial finances, including retirement funds, and I was never allowed to work. Despite seeking legal help 7 years ago, the case was closed, and I can't afford a lawyer. How can I challenge this situation given his financial control and the abuse I endure daily?
