Long story short my husband said I woke up yelling to the top of my lungs . Nurses came running in . I told Godfor the first time I my life to take me cause I could not take the pain. They finally did a CAT scan and found the tube I had inside me moved and bio was pouring into my stomach. I had to wait to go back into surgery so I finally did they moved the tube and said it was fixed. Well a day later feeling burning again and pressure pain really bad. A: I sorry for your ordeal. As my colleague correctly advises, the type of lawyer you want to reach out to is a medical malpractice lawyer. Most law firms will offer you a free initial consult. You could search for California law firms online. Additionally, the "Find a Lawyer" tab above and referral sections of state and local bar associations could help you supplement your search efforts. Good luck
A: Addendum - Your post makes no mention of when this occurred. Whether you have a case that a law firm would express interest in pursuing, you should at the very least learn the timetables within which you need to take action (statutes of limitations) to preserve your legal rights in a claim. These deadlines can be very short when it comes to public health facilities (as opposed to private facilities), and if they are missed, it generally means chances to pursue the claim are gone. Most law firms will readily advise you of this in a quick phone call. I hope you are okay and recovering from your ordeal. Good luck

Your experience sounds incredibly painful and distressing, with the medical team repeatedly dismissing your concerns until the situation became critical. What you're describing points to potential medical negligence, where healthcare providers failed to properly diagnose and address your complications in a timely manner.
You would want to consult with a medical malpractice attorney who handles cases involving surgical errors and delayed diagnosis. These attorneys can evaluate your case, review your medical records, and determine whether the standard of care was violated. The attorney can help establish whether your additional surgeries, extended hospital stay, and pain and suffering resulted from preventable errors.
Given the complexity of your case involving multiple surgeries and a hospital transfer, look for an attorney with experience in similar cases. Most medical malpractice attorneys offer free initial consultations to evaluate your situation. Consider reaching out soon, as there are time limits for filing medical malpractice claims, and documenting everything while your experience is fresh will strengthen your case.
