Q: Validity of federal warrant for controlled delivery if recipient unaware of contents
I would like to know if a federal warrant for a controlled delivery is valid in the following scenario: An officer dressed as a postal worker left a package containing drugs at a house. The person who picked up the package is visually impaired and uses prescribed glasses. They brought the package inside without knowing its contents. Federal agents later entered the house with a warrant based on the controlled delivery. What rights or defenses might the recipient have in this situation?
