Lake Forest, IL asked in Traffic Tickets for Illinois

Q: 51 in a 30 in Lake County, IL. Clean record otherwise, going to court tomorrow hoping for supervision. Need a lawyer?

I’m 67 and had supervision for crossing a white line many years ago. Probably too late for an attorney now, do I just plead guilty and ask the judge for supervision?

A: Yes you should absolutely retain an attorney who can assist you in keeping the matter off of your public record (for insurance purposes, etc.).

A: An attorney could get you in and out of court a lot quicker, but you should be able to get Court Supervision on your own. Just make sure that you appear in court and that you are early or on time at the latest.
