Q: I have a car accident. The driver give me his information but he’s not in the insurance policy do I have a case ?

I call the insurance company and they said there’s nothing they can do because the driver at the moment it’s not in the policy . In need help my car is bad damage. And I don’t know what to do ?

A: Make a claim with your own insurance company. If you don't have one, you can pursue the other driver and owner of the vehicle. Unless the driver is specifically excluded from coverage, as a permissive use of the vehicle, the owners policy should apply to him. Talk to an attorney, and get a copy of the Traffic Collision Report. if you are injured, and there is no applicable liability insurance, you can make a claim with your Uninsured Motorist Coverage, if you purchased it with your own policy.

A: yes you should still make a claim and see if they accept the honor the coverage as a permissible driver or you can have his own insurance with another car if he was borrowing this car.
