Q: Can the sheriff serve a summons for divorce to my spouses parents house?
My spouse has been homeless for a while. I really need to get our divorce done. We’ve been separated since 2015. He said I can get them sent to his dads house. Will they serve it to his dad?

A: The Service of Summons would only be valid if your spouse was an actual member of that household, i.e., resided there.
