A: It sounds like you're in a difficult situation with the bail bondsman disappearing and the owner of the bail company not providing any assistance. Your first step should be to document all communication and interactions with both the bondsman and the company owner, including any agreements made and attempts to reach them.

Since the bondsman works for the bail bond company, the owner of the company is ultimately responsible for resolving the issue. If the owner is not responding to your attempts to contact them, you may need to consider legal action. This could involve filing a lawsuit against both the bondsman and the company for breach of contract and negligence.

Before taking legal action, you may want to consult with a lawyer who specializes in contract law or civil litigation. They can provide you with guidance on the best course of action based on the specifics of your situation. Additionally, you may consider contacting local law enforcement to report the situation and seek assistance in retrieving your property and resolving the matter.
