Moorhead, MN asked in Health Care Law and Medical Malpractice for North Dakota

Q: 7yr old mental crisis, suicidal/homicidal ideations & attempts. the mental hospital refused to take him inpatient

Despite my concerns, my child screaming 4 help, the severity of his mental crisis&the actions he had already taken; they told me he did not “meet the criteria” couldn’t tell me the “criteria he needed to be placed inpatient” I also demanded to know who this psychiatrist was that was deeming my child stable enough to be brought home and they SAID “I cannot tell you that” because of their negligence to give my 7 year old mental help& a safe place to be led him to go further down ln this mental crisis for 2 WEEKS that led to cop calls, running away, threats, physical violence, suicidal/homicidal ideations, rolling my car down the drive way, swallow any/everything so he could die, grabbing knifes, damaging property, trying to make me crash my vehicle, all the way up to shooting a gun into our yard bc he"wanted me dead"- which then he was immediately brought to Sanford to be held on a psych hold HE NEEDED HELP. he hasn't been the same since. Can i pursue a case?
