Clearfield, PA asked in Animal / Dog Law, Landlord - Tenant and Criminal Law for Pennsylvania

Q: Can my Landlord evict me or have me arrested for putting my neighbors dog poop on his doorstep?

I am a tenant in a 4 apartment complex. My downstairs neighbors(young couple) are the only tenants here who own dogs. They are not cleaning up after them at all. There is usually 12-20 piles in our shared driveway and through our shared sidewalk. I have told our property manager numerous times about this issue as it is a breach of the lease here to not clean up after your pets. The property manager keeps telling me they will handle it, but the neighbors still won't clean up after their dogs. I stepped in it one morning and was late for work, so I picked up a pile of dog poop in a bag and put it on there doorstep. My property manager and landlord have now threatened me twice with eviction for me breaking my lead by causing a nuisance for putting the dog poop on their doorstep. I have complained about this issue numerous times over the 6 months that they have lived below me. Now I'm being threatened. Does my landlord have the legal right to evict me for this?
